Why Schools Need to Change...

"The 21st Century set of literacy skills is artistic, contextual, multidisciplinary, multilingual, and multicultural. 21st Century Skills require students to find information, validate it, synthesize it, leverage it, communicate it, collaborate with it, and problem solve it. Are we providing teachers with the right tools to help shift the student's academic experience?"

Yes, technology promotes creativity in our students! Yes, creativity is critical in today's workforce! As educators, we face this challenge as well: give students a foundation of core skills (such as how to write a complete sentence), so they are able to effectively communicate and sell their creative ideas.
