Being an ADE...

I am so excited about being chosen as an Apple Distinguished Educator Class of 2009. When I reflect on that, the more and more I realize there are so many people who contribute to this honor.  It's  an administration who lets you soar as an educator, and encourages and supports you to do great things. Its IT personal who make sure the technology is current and working that makes technology integration into the classroom seamless. It's being part of a team of innovative, invested, creative educators who strive to bring ideas to fruition.  I am so proud of the work of this team and the journey toward our first digital portfolio.

This African Proverb says it best: ... It takes a village to raise an ADE.
